No. Dating an account means looking at the oldest story on the profile and treating that as an upper bound.
What does a high follower count mean here?
Usually that the account published something widely read, since Medium pushes stories well beyond the audience a writer built. It is a weaker identity signal than the bio.

Not established by that alone. Anyone can publish under any name here, so an account existing under a familiar one proves only that it was registered.
